Passion to Profession: My First-Class Graduation from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

I am thrilled to announce that I have graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a First Class BMus (Hons) in Composition and Creative Music Technology. It has been a long journey, but it has been worth every moment of hard work and dedication.

I first discovered my passion for music when I was just a child. I would spend hours on end listening to music, trying to understand its various elements and how they came together to create something truly beautiful. As I grew older, my love for music only continued to grow, and I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the field.

I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama on two different courses, Baritone Horn & Composition. In 2017 I accepted a place on the performance course (Baritone) which I found wasn't the right path. A year later I switched to the composition pathway, where I spent the next few years honing my skills and refining my craft. The college provided me with the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and knowledgeable musicians and educators in the world, and I am grateful for everything that they have taught me.

Throughout my time at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, I was able to develop my skills in composition and creative music technology. I learned how to use a variety of software programs to create and manipulate sound, and I gained a deeper understanding of the various techniques and approaches that can be used to create truly unique and innovative music.

One of the many highlights of my time at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama was the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians and artists. Working with others allowed me to explore new ideas and perspectives, and it helped me to develop my skills as a composer and music technician.

Graduating with a First Class BMus (Hons) in Composition and Creative Music Technology is a dream come true for me. It is a testament to the countless hours of hard work and dedication that I have put into my craft, and it is a reflection of the knowledge and skills that I have gained throughout my time at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

I am excited to see where my career in music will take me next, and I am grateful for everything that the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama has done to prepare me for this next chapter in my life. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
