This piece serves as an expansive piano etude. It opens with a stark, austere rendition of its thematic material, gradually blossoming into moments of sheer ecstasy. Throughout the work, the original melodic motif undergoes a metamorphosis, intertwining with the explosive vigour of dance-inspired passages.
