In June 2020, I was approached by Jonathan Bates, current Solo Horn at the Black Dyke Mills Band, to participate in an interview for Brass Band Worlds, "Young Voices" Series.

It was such a privilege to discuss my journey as not only a composer but also a performer. Brass Banding is where it all started for me, whilst my output for band might be small in number, I consider the 'genre' as a center point to my development as a musician. The friendships I have made through banding are strong and have been forged for a lifetime. I am eternally grateful to all the bands who put their faith in me, none more than Sidmouth Town, for whom I would not be where I am today.
